A Bitter, or an English pale ale if you will, with a crisp hoppy bite, a vivid amber color and a rich finish. A bitter bite. Refreshing!

This beers story is a two parter. Part one: Here at Dugges we have a long history of brewing bitters. It’s one of our founders favorite beer styles and there was a long time when we hade at least one, often more, bitter in our range at the same time. Then, for whatever reason, we just stopped brewing them. Part two: One of the ways to get to sell your beer at the Swedish liquor monopoly Systembolaget, is to win tenders. A while ago they had one out for a bitter. 
Needless to say, we brewed a bitter, entered the competition for the tender and won! Bite on that!
