The second of our Imperial Stouts aged in barrels, it’s a blend between Dark Way and an aged Imperial Stout for a year in 15-year-old whisky barrels. It is a black beer with brown,creamy and persistent foam. On the nose we find notes of cocoa, and coffee from the malts as well as notes of vanilla, wood and whiskey from the long maturation in barrels. In mouth it has a robust and unctuous body with a fine bubble. With a slightly dry finish. Chocolate malts combined with oatmeal flakes give it a silky texture that adds to the warmth of the 11º make it an ideal beer to share and taste while taking temperature.
